The Brooklyn Food Coalition (BFC) is no longer an active project. This website serves as a space to commemorate the BFC's work and accomplishments from 2008 - 2016.
Since its founding, the BFC has built an inclusive, multicultural and multiracial alliance of residents, food movement allies and community-based organizations from all parts of Brooklyn, and has influenced the food justice movement and food policy at the local and state levels.
